SPRC Hamilton staff supported the Mayor’s Task Force on Transparency, Access, and Accountability’s engagement strategy through consultations with equity-deserving groups via focus groups. SPRC Hamilton also retained an Indigenous engagement specialist to conduct targeted outreach and recruitment within the Hamilton community, review and provide input into focus group questions, facilitate the Indigenous focus group, and review all Indigenous-related data and analysis. Reports on the findings from the consultations were provided to inform the final report and its recommendations.
